Of course because I’m graduating in a little over 2 weeks I’m going to be thinking about my 4 years of undergrad and how AWESOME they have been. I understand that sports don’t define experiences for all, but as midwestern transplant, I have to admit that being in Michigan and being part of the B1G just feels like home. In my my 4 years at Michigan State, I had the supreme pleasure of watching the best coaching duo in the B1G (#izzodantonio2012) Turn it around for the Green&White faithful. Maybe it was more Dantonio doing the turning since basketball was just fine all along. However, the bottom line is, WE SAW A LOT. Without further ado:

This is my favorite picture of Suzy Merchant… ever. Shows the leaps and bounds she has taken the MSU Women’s basketball program. They knocked off Number 1 seeded Duke at the Bres and former MSU coach Joanne MCCully (who liked her anyways?)

I debated this one, but it’s still just simply too epic. I remember dancing around my room in Mayo Hall sophomore year after watching this game. Even though Korie has gone to (MSU 2 in Iowa)

Marky D had a heart attack after this one. Which kind of gave all of us heart attacks too. I can’t imagine why… I think this is when I knew this football team was something special. 2010 Big Ten Champs! Plus, who doesn’t love beating Notre Dame.

If you were at this 2011 College Gameday Night Game against Wisconsin, there is no explanation needed. I only have 22 years, but this was hands down the craziest, most exciting Spartan Football game I have watched. Safetys, blocked field goals.. hail marys. What else can you ask for? I’m too pumped to watch this even more intense rivalry with Wisconsin unfold.

I was terrified that the Outback Bowl would be a national showcase of the same ‘ol Spartans.. and it almost looked that way, until it didn’t. Special Teams is our specialty.

Of course there are a lot of other things that happened in these past 4 years that are worth mentioning, but those up above stand out in my mind as the most memorable and exciting. Beating Michigan for 4 years straight, playing on an aircraft carrier, Draymond Green, making back to back Final Fours and a National Championship game, 2010 Big Ten Champs, Legends Division Champs and The Inaugural B1G Championship Game also come to mind.

We had a great ride.. can’t wait to see what the next 4 years brings.
